Extreme X-men volume one is an interesting comic. For one thing it was written by Chris Clarement and thus should have simply been a series of stories within Uncanny X-men. Since Grant Morrison basically became the captain of the X-ship at the time, X-tremne X-men was sort of a way to keep old X-fans happy (this is all conjecture of course). It actually wound up being pretty bland in its storytelling ( imo ) but the art was very cool. Salavador Larroca drew some elaborate, detailed and highly styled works that I thought were some of the best since the departure of Jim Lee and Joe Mad.

The costumes for the lineup were completely redesigned and specific to this comic. They were never seen again after this run. Some of them are good, some of them are not. Let's explore some of the statue potential of the main cast in these costumes and see if there's anything worthy of the post title.
First off is the leader of the team Storm. It's hard for Storm to look bad and Mr. Larroca does a good job of avoiding it. I think this first image would make a flying post statue.

I think this next one would make a great Bishoujo statue.

I'm sure this one will never get made, but Storm in an cocktail dress wouldn't be a bad seller.

Finally I think this cover of Storm with Rogue and Tessa would make a great diorama of the three.

Moving on to Mr. Remy Lebeau, this is the first time his costume design was changed. He still has the coat but now he's sporting an S&M body suit. I think it's cool and would buy a statue of him in it without hesitation.

There's certainly a lot of great statue potential for this look.

Whether it be a museum pose,

or an action pose statue,

one thing is certain, this look would make a great statue.
Tessa is a very cool character that joined the X-men during this period.

She was placed in the Hellfire Club as a mole by Xavier when the X-men were first formed.
This image of her as the Black Queen would make a great statue.

Of course here X-treme X-men costume is very sexy and would make for a great museum pose statue as well.

Psylocke had a brief stint on this team before she was summarily killed off. Her brief time had her wearing a slightly different costume than during the Jim Lee era which would make for a great statue design.

The last image and this next one would make great references for a statue.

This next one would as well. It would be great to have her with a psionic weapon of some sort.

An action pose statue is always welcomed and this image would be a great inspiration for one.

Of course a diorama is always a great way to present a particular important moment in a comic, and there isn't one that resonated more emotionally that the death of Psylocke. Thus this next image with Beast and Betsy would make a great diorama.

As far as Bishop and Rogue go I'm not a huge fan of their looks in this run but these next two images could make statues worth buying.

I know that last pic is of Rogue in some sort of Eastern culture inspired evening gown, but I think it's better than the costume she wore.
This next images would make a great set of statues of Rogue and Storm, either independantly or together.

Finally, this last image would make for a great diorama of the team, replacing Thunderbird II with Gambit of course.
