Beast - Modern Statue by Bowen Designs

A beast endures enough hardship that nothing short of a respectful introduction is in order.

The is the first statue of Beast made by Bowen designs.  Aside from the variant Avengers version, there had not been any Beast statues made by them until recently (see the Original Beast statue post).

The statue is another masterpiece by Bowen Designs and Eric Sosa.  Let's give him a good spin.

This is a very detailed piece.  There was a lot of love but into the beastly qualities.
The base is a very cool X- base with an interesting looking post.

The pose is extremely dynamic and acrobatic.  The hand connects to the post and balances the statue.  As you can see it's an attractive hand.

Like most hands, it's followed by a hairy blue arm.

Contrary to normal Beasts, this one wears granny panties complete with an X-belt.

Some of the best features of this statue are the feet and hands.  I present to you... feet and hands.

The big challenge for sculpting this statue is the head.  It could have been a disaster.  Fortunately Mr. Sosa knocked it out of the park!

The statue is a clear winner.

I have him in my 90's X-men display.  He looks great!  If you're interested in getting him for your collection, the best place to start is Ebay.  You can check out recent sales on Ebay to gauge it's current value here (Also if you decide to buy the statue in the future please come back and click on this link first.  It's a way for you to support the site.):
