Magneto Action Statue by Bowen Designs

The master of magnetism needs no introduction, but that doesn't mean I should be a rude host and not make one anyway.  Here he is, the one, the only, Magnus the Great!

(Note: If you'd like to improve the quality of the video please click on the "spur" icon on the bottom right hand corner of the screen once it's playing.)

The master of magnetism has finally come!

When I saw the box on my doorstep I did a double take and thought,"I don't remember ordering anything from Sideshow."

The box is huge and you can tell by the eclipsed Wolverine

There are enough of these to go around... for now

First up is the obligatory 360 degree look at Magnus the Magnificent

The base on this one is super impressive so I thought it warranted a 360 degree closer look

I thought some of the details on this base warranted an even closer look since they are so skillfully awesome

Here's the man from a high angle

And a closer look at that handsome yet menacing mug

Here's some body closeups for those extra curious types

Here's a size comparison of the Bowen Magnetos... one is a lot bigger in case you couldn't tell

And apparently pissed he wasn't first

And finally here is the Bowen Sentinel base set!  Sentinels beware!

Hail to the king baby!

  1. Hi remy! it's david from costa rica! we talked a few days ago in the comment section of your magneto statue review on you tube. Do you have facebook account? I will like to add you as a friend. I just found the magneto statue here in costa rica! can you believe that???!!! and only for $300! what a great price! I'm doing everything I can to get the money to buy it!!!
this is my fb account so you can add me if you want.

    1. Congrats on finding him and getting such a great deal! Unfortunately I am not on Facebook. Thanks for the invite though!

    2. Well that's sad bro. Anyway thank you so much for making such amazing videos for us! At least I appreciate it very much! Thanks to your video I decided to buy that statue. I will go ahead and create a profile in the marvel statue forum to keep in touch will the community!
Take care bro and stay Geek!!!!

    3. Hi Remy is David again. Sorry to bother you but I wanted to share my sad experience trying getting this awesome piece. On august 15th as you can see above I found this statue in a local store here in CR. $300 price and perfect conditions. I fell in love with it, so I worked my ass off.. I worked my ass off for 3 months without going out, without buying anything, trying to safe every coin until yesterday I finally completed the $300.. So I took 3 different buses to go to the store( it took me 2 hours to get there) only to find out that the statue was gone... It made me feel so stupid, sad, angry, and much more different feelings. I really wanted to get this one, as I told you I only have one statue because of the high price to get them here and I failed trying to get this one. So I wanted to wish you lots of happiness with this statue, take good care of it( I know you will ), you're a very lucky guy to be able to get so many bowen statues. I watch this video almost every day and I'm really happy for you bro.
The guys from the store told me that if I want to get one I will have to pay $600 dollars and for me that's impossible now so I guess I missed my chance. I know you're popular for your great reviews and knowledge in the marvel statue forum so tell the people that one guy from costa rica says hi to everyone there and I wish eveybody lot's of happy moments with their hobbies and family. Also if is not too much to ask let randy know that I love his work and this statue. Take care bro, god bless you and your family!

    4. Hey David,

It's just a statue! Don't let it bring you down. There's more important things in life, like family, etc. At least you still have the $300 and can spend it on something else for yourself.

My statues are great, and I'm certainly lucky to have them, but in the end they're just things. They don't define my happiness and they shouldn't define yours either.

In case this happens to you again though, you should have a store owner put the statue away for you and try to make installment payments.

      Take care!!!

    5. David,

I just checked Ebay. Some of these have sold for less than $300. I best you could get one shipped to you from the US for $400 or less. Keep you eye out.

      Good luck!
