Beast Original Version Statue by Bowen Designs

A doctor deserves a proper introduction. I introduce to you the Dr. Henry McCoy, aka BEAST!

If you want to improve the quality of the video, simply click on the spur icon on the bottom right of the frame once the video is playing.

Finally we have the fourth original costume X-men statue by Bowen Designs.  Only one left to complete the set.  The first was the Original Cyclops Statue.  Then came Jean as Original Marvel Girl.  Third was Angel (post forthcoming).  The only one missing is Iceman, which should be here by the end of the year.

Today is about Beast though. The edition size is 500.  Let's give him a look from every angle.

As you can see he's been sculpted to perfection.  Closeups are certainly in order.

The base is the larger X-base used on Havok and Colossus.  It's painted  silver like the bases  in the rest of this set.

The hands and feet are crafted as though they were grown in a lab.

He's got a beastly butt.

The X-belt is X-cellant!

The face that will soon turn blue.

The statue is as impressive as I thought it would be from every angle.

It's good to have him home!

Since he was recently released, I'm sure there are still plenty of him available.  Ebay is a good place to start searching for a good deal. You can start your research here (Also if you decide to buy the statue in the future please come back and click on this link first.  It's a way for you to support the site.):

    1. Hmmm, that's a good question. Unfortunately I don't have her so I couldn't answer it from that standpoint. My assumption is that as far as aesthetics go, she would work. As far as X-men logic works, she was introduced much later (post Giant Sized X-men). You don't have to follow any sort of logic that doesn't suit you though. If it makes sense to you for a display then go for it!
