I couldn't help myself.  I saw this custom statue of Sauron and I had to have it!

Coming Soon: Wolverine Brown Costume Premium Format Figure by Sideshow Collectibles

I just pre-ordered this forthcoming work of art that Sideshow just put up for order.  Although it won't be out for a year, this is one Wolverine 1/4 scale premium format worth having. You can order the exclusive version with the switch out Katana sword by clicking this link:

Marvel Wolverine - Brown Costume Marvel Premium Format(TM) Figure

And there's a companion piece coming in the guise of Classic Sabretooth.  I look forward to the full reveal on this one!

Coming Soon: Kotobukiya Art FX Cyclops Marvel Now Statue

>

Kotobukiya has finally unveiled the first of their set of Art FX statues of the Marvel Now X-Men.  The first is the best of the mutant designs, Cyclops with the x visor.  I love this design and have wanted somebody to make a statue of this since I first saw it.  Unfortunately, since it falls under the Art Fx Plus category, it's only 1/10th scale, and thus is out of scale with Bowen  and Koto Danger Room Sessions statues, so it likely won't work in my collection.  The entire set might work though, so I'll consider it.  Either way, if Koto wants to send me a sample, I would be happy to review it on the X-Lair!

Coming Soon: Rogue Danger Room Sessions Statue by Kotobukiya

Kotobukiya is at it again, sort of.  I say sort of because we were promised a Rogue statue years that was never released.  It was a bit heartbreaking (relatively speaking of course... it is ultimately just a statue).  Hopefully that won't happen again and this beautiful rendition of Rogue in her 90's garb will be mine!!!

Coming Soon: Jubilee Bishoujo Statue by Kotobukiya

Kotobukiya has gone X-crazy with their latest new reveals.  This newest offering is everybody's favorite 90's X-ingenue Jubilation Lee.  I have to admit I kinda like it.  I like the entire Bishoujo line but they're a bit too small for my collecting tastes.  Given that no other company has had the cajones to make a statue of Miss Lee, I may actually take the plunge and get this one.  We shall see.

Coming Soon: Wolverine - Brown Costume - Danger Room Sessions Statue by Kotobukiya

It looks like Kotobukiya finally answered the very loud grunts of fans that have been clamoring for this statue to be released.  Although it's slightly different than the statue that was originally sneaked a few years ago, it's got a certain appeal that can't be denied.  For me it has a Sam Keith-esque quality to it that might make it a buy.  It won't be out until next year though so I have plenty of time to deliberate.

Coming Soon: Emma Frost Premium Format Figure by Sideshow Collectibles

Sideshow is at it again.  They've once again created a beautiful statue of the scantily clad Emma Frost.  Her days in the Hellfire Club were especially showy given her outfit was essentially lingerie.  I likely won't be getting this, but to all the half naked female statue collectors out there, CONGRATS!

Coming Soon: Apocalypse Premium Format Figure by Sideshow Collectibles - Part Deux

Holy mighty morphin power villain Batman!  Apocalypse Premium Format Figure is finally going to arrive.  I just got the 21 day notice on this bad ass baddy!  I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming Soon: Sentinel Maquette by Sideshow Collectibles

Happy Days of Future Past day indeed!  Sideshow surprised the hell out of me today by including this teaser in their promotional email.  I was hoping they would do something for this glorious day in X-men history, but I didn't actually think it would happen.  I don't have any Sentinels in my X-men statue collection so I am undoubtedly going to get this.  Thanks Sideshow... but more importantly... thanks Bryan Singer!!!

Coming Soon: Beast Classic Statue

Bowen Designs has put a surprise statue up for sale today at Rocky's Vault.  You can check it out here:

https://www.rockysvault.com/shop/beast-classic-statue-2/

Apparently the edition size is 75!  Get it while it lasts!

Evening Update:  Well it looks like the statue sold out in about 2 hours.  I'm very happy to say I got my order in.  I have a feeling this one is going to shoot strait up in value.  Congrats to everyone that managed to get your hands on one!

**I would be willing to trade mine for a White Costume Storm Premium Format Figure**

I missed out on that statue just as many of you missed out on this one.  The Storm is more important to me than this statue, which will likely be equally as valuable as Storm given the limited edition size.  Thus I think it is a fair trade.  If you know of somebody that might be interested in this trade, please have her/him contact me!!!

Coming Soon: Spiral Statue by Bowen Designs

Jason Smith posted these over the weekend.  I'm assuming they're a spec design, but hopefully Bowen decides to produce her as soon as they renew their contract with Marvel.  This design is to die for!!!

Coming Soon: Psylocke - X-force Statue by Kotobukiya - Episode II - Attack of the Psyblade

This is the second post featuring the forthcoming Kotobukiya X-force Psylocke statue.  The first post was part of the SDCC 2013 recap week featuring photos of the statue from the sample displayed on the con floor.  Fortunately Koto has recently revealed some glam shots of the statue which give a better glimpse of how cool this statue is.  She's up for pre-order for those wanting to get an early hold on her.

(Thanks to warmachinex for giving me the heads up on the new shots)

Coming Soon: Stryfe Statue by Bowen Designs

The Stryfe preorder is finally here.  I knew it was coming but I didn't know when.  It was a nice Monday afternoon surprise.  As you can see it looks fantastic.  It's popularity is going to spread like a Legacy Virus (©Marvel).
