At San Diego Comic Con 2013 X-men: Days of Future past finally revealed some official marketing materials as well as part of the design for the Sentinels in the film. Indeed, the giant mutant hunting robots that we all know and love to hate are finally going to make it to the big screen in more than just a cheap Danger Room simulated light up robot head.

I have to say that as an X-men fan (I am one in case it wasn't obvious), I am overly satisfied with what was shown.

It looks menacing yet super slick.
What does this means for X-statue fans? Well, ideally it will mean that we will get a super detailed, large, and bad ass Sentinel statue to satisfy our ravenous desire for Sentinel statues.
More importantly though it means that my greatest expectations have been topped and that the forthcoming Days of Future past film is going to be the best comic book movie ever made. All hail Bryan Singer!
