Solve For X 7 - Solved by maverick1891

The following is a black and white photo of an X that is located on one of the statues in my collection which has already been featured on my blog.  The image may or may not be rotated, so the X won't necessarily look exactly as it would in an upright statue. Your job is to tell me which statue it belongs to.

You can weigh in on the comments section if you think you've  figured it out. I've decided to leave these unsolved until someone solves them.  I will no longer be providing the solution on the following post.  So unless it says solved in the post title, the solution is still up for grabs.

Bon chance!

I have to say that I'm a bit surprised that nobody got last week's "Solve for X".  It didn't seem that difficult.  Maybe I've been spending too much time around my statues since I never expected it would leave you all asking:

So here is the great unveiling. First, here is the image I was asking you to solve for X from.

Now here it is again in color.

What's important to note is that the X is skewed, but there's only so many places an X like this could appear.  Naturally, it is the belt of one of the X-men.  Specifically, the belt of the retro Cyclops statue.

Looks like I stumped you my X-friends.  Perhaps this week it won't be as difficult to "Solve For X"!!!

7/14 update - maverick1891 had solved for the X on this post.  It took over a week but it looks like the right person for the job finally came along.  The X is indeed for the Bowen Modern Warpath statue.  The image of the X was taken from this photograph:

Again, great job Mr. 1891!  You are a god amongst men.  Don't ever let anyone tell you different.
